You are lovingly invited to practice the village we dream of, in relationship with the living waters of the Earth, in the company of music, art, family, and community.

We gather not simply to attend a retreat, but to participate in the creation of culture. One where our children are welcomed into the center of community life, where food is shared, fires are tended, songs arise naturally, and the river becomes a place of connection and remembrance. Where we make art together, sit in council, listen across our differences, and discover what becomes possible when we move beyond

the limitations of doing everything alone.

Ayla Nereo is currently in the creation process of her next album in the Soverign Kin series; Dreamwaters.

This event is an immersion into the prayer of this album and a participatory experience in living the mission of Sovereign Kin.

We gather to give ourselves the gift of time and space to practice the very thing so many of us long for: a way of living in which we are genuinely supported by one another, connected to the land beneath our feet, and invested in the wellbeing of the whole.

Gathering in the living world of Sovereign Kin, alongside musician and visionary artist Ayla Nereo, we will spend five days exploring the art and practice of village building.

This is an invitation to move from imagining

a different world to practicing one.

Here in Costa Rica, the Scarlett Macaws

(locally known as Lapas) mate for life,

flying wing tip to wing tip with their beloved.

In honor of your love, with all of its challenges and all of its victories.

May you be wind beneath each other's wings
